An English breed that was developed by crossing a Southdown Ram with a Norfolk Horn Ewe. A large breed with Rams normally weighing in above 110kg and Ewes around 80kg. Used as a terminal sire breed due to their unusually good confirmation they are one of the most popular breeds in Britain and independent trials show that they have the fastest growth rate of the terminal sire breeds.
Our Rams are bred for the commercial market with a focus on producing finer boned animals that will allow for easy lambing along with ensuring we keep the lamb vigor at birth, good growth rates and correct confirmation.
We produce sheep of both show and commercial quality and usually have Rams and Ewes of various ages available.
